Luke Edward

Software Engineer at Microsoft · Seattle, WA

I build AI systems that engineers actually trust.

I'm a software engineer at Microsoft on Windows Silicon & System Integration, where I build LLM-backed tooling and the large-scale telemetry infrastructure underneath it.

The part I actually care about is verification. Anyone can get a model to produce an answer; the hard problem is proving the answer wasn't invented by the same process that produced it. That idea runs through most of what I build.

Before Microsoft: Dayforce, Interac, and Rogers. Honors BSc in Computer Science & Data Science from Western University.

Projects

Agent Research Harness

Runs LLM agents against unsolved math problems and refuses to take their word for it — every result is re-checked by an independent solver that shares no code with the original. Produced independently verified results on two open Erdős problems.

Python · LLM agents · verification harnesses
Bellwether

Ranks feature requests by the revenue behind them — parses sales-call transcripts and joins what customers asked for to CRM data, so every roadmap item carries a dollar figure.

TypeScript · LLM extraction · CRM · data pipeline

Earlier: SafeDrive.AI, ML drunk-driving detection; Rhythm, real-time cardiac arrhythmia detection on embedded hardware; Secured by StockX, a release-day sneaker app; and Two Cents, a Chrome extension that flags which purchases are financially sensible.
